Hello, my friends! If you’ve read this blog for a while, you’ll remember the Maven cover reveal back in May, and the Nemesis reveal as well in August. Well, it has been three months, and that means it is time for Starla Huchton to reveal the next cover in her Endure Series. Starla is being very ambitious with her four-part Sci-Fi Romance series, releasing all four books in a year. So now it is time to talk about book 3.

The new book is Progeny, and it is due to be released on December 2nd, 2013 under the byline of S. A. Huchton. The adventure continues for Lydia and Daniel as the Maven Initiative moves forward towards its sinister goal. Here’s what Starla has to say about what goes on in the book:

Heartbroken over Lydia’s unexplained departure, Daniel Brewer is barely functional. When she left the Endure, she took everything important with her: his purpose, his heart, his reason for breathing. Daniel’s convinced Nick Miller has the answers to his questions, but Dr. Gorgeous isn’t talking.

A world away, Dr. Lydia Ashley struggles with her choices and mistakes. With one small discovery, everything she thought was true is shattered in an instant.

The buried secrets of the Maven Initiative surface.

No one is safe.

And Daniel and Lydia must both decide exactly how far they’ll go for love.

So now you’ve got a month to speculate on what that means and to re-read Maven and Nemesis so you’re all caught up and ready for the December 2nd release!

But what else can you do in the meantime?

Well, you can go over to Goodreads and put Progeny on your to read list. Feel free to comment on the book and let everyone know how excited you are about it. Maybe go into the Goodreads forums and start a thread to speculate about what will be revealed in Progeny? That would be fun, right?

Of course, if you missed the earlier releases and haven’t read Maven or Nemesis, now would be a good time to check them out. You can find a description of Maven on Goodreads, and you can get an e-book copy of Maven at Smashwords or a print or e-book copy of Maven from Amazon. Just as a reminder, here’s the description for Maven.

How far would you go for love?

Since losing her parents at 14, young prodigy Dr. Lydia Ashley has focused on one thing: an appointment on the Deep Water Research Command Endure. Now 21, she’s about to realize that dream, but nothing is how she imagined it would be. Her transitional sponsor forgets her, her new lab is in complete chaos, and, as if that weren’t enough, she’s about to discover something so horrific it could potentially destroy all life on the planet.

Daniel Brewer, a noted playboy and genius in his own right, may be exactly what she needs… Or he may make everything worse.

Has she finally found a puzzle she can’t solve?

Likewise, you can also find reviews and other information about Nemesis at Goodreads, and pick up an e-book copy from Smashwords,or get a print or e-book copy of Nemesis from Amazon. And, of course, here’s the description for Nemesis:

Tech genius Daniel Brewer isn’t the only one with a romantic history. Already weighed down with the impossible problem of the Maven Initiative’s plans for world domination and disaster, Dr. Lydia Ashley is finding it more and more difficult to keep things in balance. With an old flame reappearing and the schemes of a vindictive new rival thrown into the mix, her hopes for a life with Daniel may be on the brink of annihilation.

When Lydia’s past is brought to light, one big secret could destroy everything.

Of course, if you’d like to find out more about the author, you can check out her website at, or follow her on Twitter at @riznphnx. And if you really love her work be sure to go visit her Facebook Author page and give her a like!

And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s a Rafflecopter giveaway, too!

And if that didn’t satisfy you, then here is the actual cover in this cover reveal! (Thought I’d forgotten that part, hadn’t you?)

Oh yes. Loving this series by Starla. 🙂 Had to share it on my blog too. 😉

Hope you are doing well and making headway with your story this Nano November. 🙂

Going has been slow for my NaNo piece. This is why I haven’t had time to write up any NaNo diary entries. Getting words in has taken up too much of my day, leaving no time for blogging. I just haven’t been as on-target for this story as I should have been.

Slow going is better than no going. 🙂 Glad to hear you are working away.

Some work is better than no work, but it is beginning to look like I will need to bail on NaNo this year in order to do some voice work on an existing contract. We shall see…
