I believe that the plan is to record as a single read. That is pretty consistent with what has been done with season 1 of the Tales from the Archives. Tee and Pip will add an introduction to the episode, but I don't believe any of the previous episodes have had multiple parts.

Unfortunately, at this time, I can't really share anything more. Even the genre might be saying a bit too much. As soon as I can say more, I will, and when the story goes live, I'll be sure to post details about how folks can get a hold of it.

But for now, it's a mystery.

Congratulations! Are you able to say anything about it, such as the genre? You probably can't say what actual author/shared world it is. Anyway, that's wonderful news. :)

I had not heard that. I shall have to go look for that compile option tonight. And get in a few more words... Not like it matters. Once you validate, you're validated...

I think this is going to be something more like 75K by the time I am done with it... then again, what do I know? I'm just writing the thing...

Don't copy and past from scrivner to the validator, the validator is notorious for stealing words from various programs. Use the Compile>NaNoWriMo obfuscate option when validating.

Good luck with finishing the novel, I'm in the same boat, I have a lot more to write before finishing the book

No, not a Viking festival. But there should be one, shouldn't there?

This Viking raid involved me coming south to pick up some inherited furniture. It is more accurately titled "The Viking Furniture Raid of 2011!" Please note that it is a Viking raid of furniture, and not a raid of Viking furniture. While that might also be worthwhile, it wouldn't fit with our decor.

Thanks for reading the blog, Stacey! Hope you'll stick around.

Thanks, Jim! I won't argue that it feels good to hit those scenes where the words just flow, but it is nice to know that I can produce when the words aren't just flowing. Maybe someday I can make a decent living off of this! :D

Thank you! I have to admit that once I hit the point where the words just flow, I've really been enjoying writing this. Considering that it started as a short story, I've been a little worried that I won't be able to get it up to novel length. But now I'm beginning to have faith that I can make the length. It has become more of a question of how twisty the plot is going to become before it is done!

How is your story coming? I noticed that your word count went up really quickly for the past two days. Planning on finishing early?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Nathan! I completed my first two chapters yesterday, so I am happy so far!

And I note that Ravven is giving you some competition on your word rate!

I think we've got a number of us in this year's Rookie class. I think we'll be well represented. Of course, when it comes to writing stories, it is more important to finish than to "win". Thanks for the comment, Jamie, and good luck on your NaNoWriMo push! See you at the finish line!

This is my first year and my first time writing. I've always wanted to focus on it, but work, kids, and priorities always took the cake. I started writing this year because my mind is overloaded with stories. Lately when I share them with my friends we get confused on which story I'm referring too. I decided its time for me to start getting them on paper. NaNoWriMo is going to be my push. I've been warming up this month by working on a short fan fiction and by preparing my outline and notes for my novel for November. I don't have high expectations, but I'm really excited to push for the win. That being said, I hope we are both ready and can make it through the month with smiles and excitement. Good luck to you Doc Coleman.

Thank you, Jeff! Doing voice work has been a chance for me to get back to acting in some small way.

I have enjoyed doing Midsummers. It is so wonderfully written if you just think of them as real people who just speak oddly. Oberon is wonderfully cruel, but can also be wonderfully generous.

I hope Treasure Island will live up to everyone's expectations. And that my voice will recover so I can get farther ahead with my narration!

Your voice work in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Treasure Island are both incredible. I really appreciate all your hard work, and the hours your put in behind the mic.
You do a great job as Oberon, he can be so evil and you play it just right. And I can think of anyone else that I would want as the Narrator for Treasure Island.

Honestly, I haven't given much of a look to Twittelator since then. And it wouldn't seem right to start re-visiting the original series when we're still waiting for the last podcast to drop.

Thanks, Brand! I know that nominations usually don't turn into awards, but it is still exciting the first time you get nominated.
Actually, I would hope that it is exciting every time you get nominated. Good luck with your Parsec run this year.
