For those of you, yes, both of you, who have wondered about the mysterious project code-named “Northern Mist” that I’ve been working on, I can now reveal a little more about it. I’ve kept quiet pending word from the author who invited me to write in his world that I can begin talking about the story. Well, I haven’t officially gotten that word, but my author has talked about things on his own site, and I don’t see any reason I can’t echo what he has said.

For now, the story will remain behind the code name “Northern Mist”, but if you read this post over at TeeMorris.com, then you already know that I will be contributing a short story to Season 2 (or Volume II) of Tales from the Archives, a Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences Anthology. So my “author” in this case are actually co-authors Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris.

I am very honored and excited to be part of this. I dearly love the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences and I hope everyone will enjoy my small contribution to the world. It has made it very difficult to keep quiet about his project and all the steampunky goodness. Unfortunately, I can’t say too much more about our progress right now. We are in the editing phase now. Once the story is finalized and approved, I’ll be recording it, then Tee will work his production magic on the finished recording. After that will come the agonized waiting until the episode finally drops into the feed.

The good news is that the first episode of Season 2 of Tales from the Archives is scheduled to drop on April 10th, and then a new episode will drop each fortnight until the season is complete (or life gets uncomfortably in the way). So there will be plenty of new MoPO content coming your way. As soon as I know, and can let it be known, I’ll post more about “Northern Mist”.

Squeee!
